Pearson, a renowned international educational publisher, reached out to our studio with an exciting opportunity. They were in the process of developing a new Japanese language textbook as part of their globally recognized "Iitomo" series. This series is widely used by learners of Japanese across the world. For this project, Pearson provided us with a collection of stories designed to teach Japanese language and culture. Our studio was tasked with bringing these narratives to life through custom manga illustrations. We collaborated closely with Pearson to ensure that the artwork not only complemented the educational content but also captured the engaging and vibrant essence of manga, making the learning experience both enjoyable and immersive for students.
