Story First: A 3-Minute Moment

Working from the agency’s storyboard, we drew a short manga about a 22-year-old student who comes home starving after a long day. He remembers the cup noodle soup; three minutes later it’s ready—and he’s delighted.

Refining the Character & Setting

After review, the client asked for an older look and a white shirt instead of a hoodie, and no noodles in the mouth. To add a sense of Japan, we included Mt. Fuji, a shrine, and cherry blossoms in the background.
